Meet Evan Lang
Evan joined the PGA of Canada in 2015 after spending six years working at the Murray Golf Course. Evan was the assistant professional from 2015-2021 at the Murray Golf Course before moving to Tor Hill Golf Course as the Head Professional.In 2015, Evan became the sole Assistant at the Murray Golf Course and inherited the Junior Learn to Golf Program at the Lakeview Par 3. Since then, Evan has taken the program and grown it to over 100 junior golfers at Tor Hill Golf Course and is looking to continue the growth of the program.
Since becoming Head Professional at Tor Hill, Evan has developed many strong programs to help all sorts of golfers from junior golfers starting at age 5 to all skill levels of adults. Evan has found success with these programs by continuing his knowledge of golf and implementing them in 1on1 lessons and group lesson settings.
Evan was born and raised in Pilot Butte, Saskatchewan. With connections in Emerald Park, White City, Balgonie, Pilot Butte and many more small communities southeast of Regina. Being raised in a small-town Evan developed a love for the community which he wishes to pass on through the game of golf. Evan Currently lives in Balgonie, SK where he enjoys many hobbies (golfing, camping, baseball) with his family and friends. Evan got married to his beautiful wife Heidi and has two young children Brooks and Kacie.
The highlight of Evan's golf career was finishing second with playing partner Dan Hall Dorson at the 2015 Oktoberfest.
